Mondayne

Ahhh! The Iced Mocha is working! I can feel it! *bzzzzzzz*

Remember that time I forgot to go to the Annual Church Business Meeting for the first time ever, and instead stayed home, sort of working and watching Burn Notice episodes online at the same time? Remember that? Yeah, that was a long time ago.

Oopsie.

I actually did have every intention of going, but I literally just now realized it as I started typing this... I feel pretty lame right about now...

Guess the Iced Mocha isn't working after all, eh..?

And, no, I still haven't picked the lemons or trimmed the bushes yet! Sheesh! Cut me some slack, eh! Actually, it's never wise to cut a slacker some slack... he just might slip into a coma...

Burn Notice is a fun show, I like it. Not too many TV shows I like to watch, but that's one of them. I also like Frank TV (which I also watch online), since he's such an amazing impressionist. Except this season, he's getting more crude, which I don't appreciate.

As you can see, I'm reaching for content again today. Man, in a second, I might grab my "5 Favorite Albums" list that I threatened you with the other day...

In fact, here it is, straight from my Amazon.com profile!
1. Facedown, by Matt Redman
2. Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack, by Howard Shore
3. One Day Remains, by Alter Bridge
4. Wire, by Third Day
5. Joshua Tree, by U2

"Wow, fascinating, Dave! Thanks for sharing! Now if you ever have a pop quiz, I'll be prepared!"

I don't know if that link to my profile will work for you or not. If it does, you'll have a head start on my "5 Favorite Movies" list... and, yes, I used the same picture there as I did here. What can I say? It's my only decent picture. Let's just say, I don't photograph well. I'm usually the Quintessential Lumbering White Nerd.

All in all, a decent day today. Kind of mundane, so the lame pun in the title is somewhat fitting.

Here's a random political comment, just to catch you off guard: "Whenever I see a picture of Al Franken, I want to punch him in the face."

Even though I'm getting pretty good at turning words into hyperlinks in my blog posts, I refuse to link to a pic of Franken, so if you don't know who he is, consider yourself blessed. Actually, now that I'm getting the hyperlink thing down, I should start moving on to linking pictures and videos, to break up the monotony of the "all text" vibe I've developed here.

Until tomorrow, good night, and good luck.

Since I don't have cable or satellite, I don't watch too much TV unless I go to my mom's. This is a good thing as I can get hooked on just about anything...but I still appreciate the links :D

Anyway, seems you did more than me again today, you lucky thing, you. I slept and messed around on the computer. And I didn't even have to get of bed to do it...Ahh, I love my laptop.

btw...reading your blog makes me feel more normal. Thought you might like to know that.
